Found in Translation is medical interpreter job training program empowering low-income bilingual women to achieve economic security through their language skills, and improving healthcare access. Immigrants face high poverty rates; meanwhile medical errors resulting from language barriers are costly and even deadly. Aligned, these two problems can solve each other.
Everybody Dance Now! is a national nonprofit using hip hop dance to educate, inspire, and build community. Through hip hop culture, we engage a wide range of young people and close the opportunity and achievement gaps that disproportionately affect low-income residents and communities of color. We promote equity, empowerment, and healing through the arts.
Girl Develop It (GDI) creates welcoming, supportive opportunities for women and people underrepresented in tech education to learn web and software development skills. Through classes, projects, and events, GDI students develop code, confidence, and community across a network of over 60 chapters with more than 100,000 members.
